the process
01get the tools
Having the right tools makes removal much easier, and much less tedious. A good scraper and adhesive cleaner are worth the cost. Here are some recommendations:Goo Gone Sticker Lifter Kit↗Plastic Razor and Cleaner↗Goo Gone Wipes↗
02scrape it off
Firmly and slowly peel up the sticker using the scraper blade to work back glue as you progress. It's usually easier to peel bottom to top. If it's really stuck, you can loosen the glue's hold with hot water or another heat source like a heat gun.
03clean up any goo
Scrape off any leftovers and use a microfiber cloth↗ or paper towel to clean up any goo with the adhesive cleaner. Take care to use a clean towel after most of the gunk is off to avoid spreading it around.

common problems
tears while peeling
Tears are common when peeling from top-to-bottom because of the multiple points on the badge crown. This is why we recommend peeling from bottom-to-top. If the sticker tears, stop pulling, and either attempt to peel both sides of the tear to rejoin them, or restart from another edge or corner. Do not scrape the torn face, this just makes things worse.
adhesive haze
A cloudy film means the glass still has glue embedded in it. Apply a fresh spray of cleaner and use a fresh, clean, dry paper towel or microfiber towel↗ to wipe it off. You can remove the bulk of the glue by scraping with the plastic scraper.
cold weather
Glue gets brittle below freezing and the sticker shreds and tears easily into confetti. Warm the glass first with hot water or a heat gun on low.
sticker damage
If the sticker or its glue has damaged your glass, tint or trim, take photos before you start and again when you finish. You will need them to report the damage.
